A very good program, especially small tots in fancy dress competetion.

Mohit Karamchedu 2013-04-22 13:23:17

A very big hello to Greenville and what a way you guys had welcomed our family here with a big bash Ugadi celebrations. I had never witnessed such an event. Dont know much about programs and all, but I had enjoyed the atmosphere and made a couple of friends.

Deva Gandhi Undamatla 2013-04-18 09:50:17

I’d like to take this opportunity to express my thoughts to all TAGG Core committee members and volunteers for your attention about our annual TAGG Ugadi celebrations. Starting with Core committee structure you guys recently wrapped up the best Upgadi celebrations activity for 2013 with a record breaking attendance of 600+ participants.

Everyone get to see lot of improvement with the NEW “Core Committee” structure. It proves us lot of open minded discussions and decisions which intern produces better results. Way back in 2005, I suggested building a Core committee but it took a while to see. Anyhow, now we are here.

Core committee structure results (a few):
1)New year 2013 party has been organized very nicely, came up with a new agenda (DJ’s etc.,)
2)Ugadi celebrations start time and end time – meets the expectations
3)Quality of Ugadi programs – well structured, lot of improvement, meets everyone’s expectations (PINDE KODHEE ROTI)
4)Ugadi 2013 Dinner time – in TAGG history, first time it met the scheduled and published time

As always proven, when you build a Core committee with a list of dedicated members includes developing and managing an Affirmative Action Program that is discussed and reviewed by appropriate committee members in each area and then obviously everyone able to see good results.

Thank you for your hard work – behind the scene some of them worked day and night to make our TAGG Ugadi celebrations was great success. A few people I knew, they worked very hard to make this event a great success like Mr Venu Sama and Sreedhar Yarlagadda etc.,

Once again TAGG team proved themselves and raised the bar again.

Last but not least, Hats off to Mr. Venkat Reddy for making “Mile sur mera thumhara” video. Proud to be part of Telugu Association of Greater Greenville (TAGG).

Congratulations to Tagg on their 10th Anniversary. You guys out did yourselves! The collage on the wall was a very heart warming welcome to all! The stage decoration and the Photo Spot were fabulous. A special congrats to the team who did it. I did not know there was live Telecast?? Awesome!! The making of Tagg was a very nice way to get behind the scenes.

All the programs were very well choreographed and executed.

Thanks to TAGG for giving us this platform to present Greenvilles First Flash Mob!I enjoyed choreographing it, as much as I enjoyed dancing with all of them.

It was truly a fun filled evening for all.

Hello All,
What can I say, it was truly a grand evening. TAGG lived up to its 10th Anniversary celebration.
Starting from Entrance to Stage to Anchors to Programs to Food to Exit - it was just marvelous and grandeur.
The mention of LIVE telecast blew me off completely and not to forget the Flash Mob dance.
Keep up the great work.
It was pleasure to be there on Saturday.

RAJU PATNAM 2012-04-16 13:20:27

Great show, nice programs. Dinner was excellent. Stage decoration, constumes were very good. The program was well organized and conducted very well. Everthing went well without any major problems or delay.. There was a good mix of traditional and modern dances. Congratulations for the TAGG association for hosting another excellent program.
Some suggestion:
There should be some kind of fence in front of the stage, so that no body (includes kids)can stand in front of the stage which is obstructing the view of the people who are sitting patiently in the back. Whoever wants to take pictures or video they can go the front and sit and take pictures wthout blocking view the view. Children in front of the stage were disturbing the people on the stage.

Dev 2012-04-16 09:36:19

What a fabulous evening for one and all. Outstanding p[erformances by kids and adults. Right from the word go...the program captured the audience till the screening of Making of Ugadi video.

The four spectacular design places Stage, Photo point, Entrance and Collage point made our beloved guests dropping their jaws in awe..and heard lot of WOW`s from almost all of them for the Grandeur look and a perfect ambeience to have a plesant evening. Everybody enjoyed the food a lot and Flash mob is really a surprising item enjoyed by one and all.

A big thank you to all the participants, parents, Choreographers and all committee memebers for putting up a memorable show. I will remember this for long time and I thank all the members for making me a part of this event.

Sreedhar Cheruku 2012-04-15 23:11:44

It was an excellent Tagg 10th Anniversary on Saturday (14ht April). Flash mob was awesome. Had fun through out the evening.

Rodney 2012-04-15 17:03:01

As a native of South Carolina, it felt like a brief visit to southern India. The food was delicious. Always nice to see the beautiful variety of fancy dresses and to watch the talent show while catching up with friends whom I haven seen for a while. I would suggest having a laminated recipe card with the ingredients and method of preparation to benefit those with food sensitivity and those who would like to learn to prepare the dish being served. My daughter was not able to attend, but was very happy with the earrings I bought for her at the jewelry tables.

Lakshmi Suvarchala 2011-05-27 23:45:58

Iam Lakshmi. I participated in Ugadi celebrations( 2006) in singing.Enjoyed the show with my family. We came back to India but still iam in touch with u guys by looking at ur site every year. Fantastic job by one and all. Great show and awesome programs. Looking forward to participate in ur event one more time.

Amarnath Reddy Badveli 2011-04-12 13:21:59

Great show and awesome programs. Very good professional performances for a small town like Greenville and Looks like TAGG had a good team to do all the hardwork.

Enjoyed everything on Saturday and looking forward for more.

Hi TAGG Team 2011-04-12 09:56:08

The stage decoration was really good.. Great work..
All the programmes went nice.. Great show..
We enjoyed..

Joseph Buldhe 2011-04-11 16:34:51

Good show by Gulte guys, I am surprised that you guys are bigger than some function done by IAGG this year around January or sometime.

But only one complaint guys..when I was given the camera by my friend to take some pictures of his son, no place for me to get good ones, ended up taking from the side. Take some care in that area and give oppurtunity to every body who are participating..because eveybody`s kin is precious for them.

Fantastic job by one and all.

Kasi Viswanath Oonamula 2011-04-11 13:51:59

I had liked most of the programs especially the classical performances...I should find a slot for my wife and kids to perform next time.

Vinod Kumar Balla 2010-03-24 08:33:05

Hi All,

On behalf of some Infor Employees I am writing this mail,

In 2009 we came to Greenville, around 30 new families (we joined in Infor Global solutions in 2009 Jan) attended TAGG 2009 Ugadi celebration, everybody enjoyed a lot. This year we compared with last year celebrations, everybody said Quality of the programs improved a lot. In my point of view Choreography is nothing but just handling 5 members to 20 members, its very easy, but Organizing the event is very very tough task, you have to handle people who have different views and thoughts and you have to satisfy all of them.

This year I sold 10 tickets to my colleagues who don know our Language, After the program they Said
Vinod don forget to sell 2011 TAGG Ugadi celebration Tickets. This statement is enough to judge the success of the event and quality of our programs.

we wholeheartedly thankful to the organizers of the event who provide a platform to show our talents. You people are the real heroes of the TAGG 2010 Ugadi Celeberations.

Sathya 2010-03-23 12:49:26

The program was well organized and conducted very well.
Good time passing for 3 and half hours..
Really enjoyed..

But these kind of programs only encourage everyone to dance or kids to dance..

If it includes other activities (vocal, instrumental music) also it will be good.

Surya 2010-03-22 20:23:23

Hi, All the Programs are very well conducted. I feel, we should introduce some competitions along with performances, like singing competition.

Dev 2010-03-22 11:19:14

Congratulations to one an all who are part of Ugadi 2010.

Srivalli Kondapalli 2010-03-22 08:47:48

Awesome!!! Excellent!!! Extra-ordinary!!!

Another memorable year in our TAGG community.

What an OUTSTANDING performances for continues 3.5 Hrs!!!

Congratulations to Organizers, Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers, Guests in making such a wonderful event.

Choreographers attention to the Costumes, Props and finer details to the items are unbelievable.

Complete entertainment for all ages & eye treat (kanula vindu) for all tastes of audience. All performances are just fantastic.

Food was excellent and delicious. “Mirchi” curry gave a taste of Andhra and kids have their favorite “Paneer” curry too. Dinner ended with delicious dessert Rasmalai.

“Audio & Lighting is very good”, which has been my wish for the last two years.

Raju Patnam MD 2010-03-20 23:57:17

Congratulations to TAGG for hosting this excellent program. Food, lighting, dances, stage decorations, costumes and audio system are excellent. I would like to thank TAGG organisers, parents and choreographers for their hard work and effort to produce this well diversified cultural program.

Sivaram 2009-04-14 21:35:23

Programmes was really good, Especially food is Awesome. I don’t know about my stay at SC,If I stay next year in the same place I will contribute more more …

Sreedhar Cheruku 2009-04-13 11:00:36

It was a great pleasure to see lot of telugu people. Programs were really nice. Food was too good. It was a fun filled perfect evening. I would like to thank organisers for this one. It requires lot of hard work and effort. Thank you once again.

Srivalli Kondapalli 2009-04-13 09:36:57

Once again TAGG team proved themselves and raised the bar again. Feels like they made a habit of this.
Congratulations to Organizers, Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers, Guests in making such a wonderful event.
Costumes in all the dances are really really good. Lot of effort from choreographers & parents. Special thanks to the people who worked very hard and spent lot of time for the success of the event.
Food quality, quick serve and the amount of food was great.
Last but not least: I am giving the same suggestion since last two years also, this year also same suggestion: Audio system is not up to the mark and hence left the audience baffle at a time & at times it is in-comprehensible. Audio is the only means of communicating the program to the audience. So please, please take extra effort & caution to not hurt the participants and audience with improper audio system.
All good wishes to TAGG.

Ajay 2009-04-12 15:14:48

Great Show Last Night. I really enjoyed it. The beginning of the show was Excellent with prayer and then Desam Manadera was really good. Congratulations to the choreographer who did this. The back ground was good the costumes were really good. My personal favorites were Desam manadera and Akilandeswari.Food was very delicious but little spicy for me but chakara pongali covered it. Good show guys. I really like to congratulate Tagg team, choreographers; stage decorates who did an excellent job on decorations. Over all a great hit show last night

RAJU PATNAM 2009-04-12 07:29:24

Johann Vanderbijl 2009-02-03 11:18:00

My wife and I are planning to go to Hyderabad and Giddalur in August this year and wanted to learn to speak a little bit of Telugu before we leave. Is there anyone in Greenville who teaches spoken Telugu? How could we get in touch with them?

Samabasiva Rao 2008-07-02 14:16:00

Hello TAGG, I should kick myself for missing this program, I went along with our group to Atlanta for nothing to watch Ready movie. It is nice but some of my friends from other cities made fun of me for trading this program to a movie. Hope we will have him again while I am here,If not him I look forward for this kind of programs.

Venkat 2008-07-01 16:50:00

I was skeptical about the success of Ghazal Srinivas program, but I was happy that I enjoyed the program and I think many people had missed this entertainment. We need more of this kind of programs to entertain the community.

Srivalli Kondapalli 2008-06-30 09:27:00

Our family has enjoyed Dr. Ghazal Srinivas concert. We need to have more programs of this kind in Greenville in future. Thank you for arranging such a nice program.

Raju Jampana 2008-04-27 10:48:00

Congratulations to the organizers for making it such a great success.I personally missed the fun but can imagine the kind of quality you guys must have done it with to receive such rave reviews. You are raising the bar every year and all good wishes from an old friend

Paramesh 2008-04-25 10:06:00

Hello TAGG members, You guys did a commendable job on telugu new year function. I shouls say that was the best program that I had saw in the recent past, I had attended vedic center & IAGG programs but you guys had surpassed all of it on all aspects be it food, entertainment or volunteership. Only blot in the program is the language, it is bounded to a regional language, which is very difficult for people like me to understand and enjoy the programs. Kindly include atleast hindi so that you guys can reach broader community. Including 3 or 4 hindi in the programs will not effect flow or the identity of TAGG. I am surprised even Jyotiji also did telugu song!!! Anyhow congratulations for a grand event and hope you guys will keep doing it better and better. Param.

Raju Patnam 2008-04-23 13:36:00

Congratulations to TAGG committee for hosting the excellent UGADI program. All the participants done their song and dance programs very well. All the programs were choreographed well. The food, hall, lighting, costumes and seating arrangements were excellent. Special thanks to all the TAGG volunteers who contributed their time and hard work to arrange this superb program. Many thanks to the sponsors, TAGG commitee members, participants and all the people who attended this program.

Vandana Alias Vamsi :) 2008-04-23 13:29:00

Telugu ugadi festival was very well celebrated. This is the first time for me outside india on ugadi. and I really liked this way of remembering all the telugu cultures amongst us. Telugu Badi, and distributing ugadi pachadi were awesome ideas. I even liked the idea of teaching telugu letters through poems. Bharathnyatam dance was very good, and its amazing how children in US can learn and relate to telugu culture. The movie dances were very very good and well coreagraphed. I thank my Apparao babai and Srivalli pinni to introduce me to greenvile and its rich culture. Food was very yummy. Stage decoration was very good. I have seen the stage before the day and after the decoration, trust me it is simply superb. All the hardwork deserve great appreciations. The music was loud enough to create its presence amongst the other activities backstage and audience, so I liked the audio too. I observed finally that there were only men amongst the committe members. Would be willing to see the Lady power on the commitee by next Ugadi function. Also, we need to project all these activities in India through E tv, Maa tv or Zee. If any one has contacts, please provide them. This will clear out the misconception of becoming western once we land in US. :) The whole funtion reminded me of the essence of Ugadi pachadi. The 2 months hardwork for the function had all the flavours sweet, sour, bitternes and spice in it. From the previous comments I see that we all have taken the program in the right spirit and appreciated the hardwork done backstage and onstage.

Surya Prakash 2008-04-23 13:22:00

Thanks for all the members of Telugu Association of Greenville for putting up a good show. My god the kids had stole the thunder of the evening as they had performed like professionals. The credit goes to the organisers I felt ashamed for not being a part of this grand show, Next year I will approach the committee to be some help. Once again thank you all. SP.

Sarat Alapati 2008-04-23 09:20:00

Kudos to 2008 Ugadi organizers for excellent event. Good mix of programs and quality getting better and better. Stage decoration was awesome and food was delicious. I would also like to remind the community that 2008 Ugadi is 6th and 5th consecutive Ugadi celebrations in Greenville.

Neeraja 2008-04-23 09:20:00

CONGRATULATIONS!!! to all TAGG volunteers for a job well done. There is a drastic change in the quality of the programs, food, arrangements & lighting this year and filled the minds of people with joy. The entrance and the stage decoration were marvelous. I even heard people saying that it looks like a movie shot. It was so professional. It’s so nice to see such hidden talents in our community and I am proud to be part of it. Food was very delicious. It’s nice to see kids performing classical dances with so much dedication that captured people’s attention and proved to change their opinion. Everyone did an excellent job. The only clause was with the audio system which might need more attention.

Shetty 2008-04-22 17:05:00

Good job guys...better than what we did on previous week. But we will catch up with you guys soon.

Nani Sammeti 2008-04-22 17:02:00

Boorelu in the food menu reminded many festivals we all celebrate back home, Especially my mom will do boorelu and bobbatlu very well... Thanks for the delicious food and entertainment. Nani.

Kiran Sirupa 2008-04-22 16:33:00

It was amazing to see so many kids sing the Maa telugu tallki song which has so many tough lyrics with too many high and low notes..wonderful job in training them. Wow.. The lengthy dialog in Ekapatrabhinayam was awesome. Reminded NTR :-) Great job. The costumes suited Ram very well. Your programs quality is increasing every year :-)

Jyothi Garipalli 2008-04-22 15:38:00

It was wonderful event. Members need to be appreciated. As MC’s said, this year is special for TAGG as it celebrated 5th year. Everybody made it memorable by their performances and their interest in costume designs. One better item this year is Taarangam. Srinivas did come up with very good idea of teaching the Telugu rhymes in a new fashion. Food was delicious and stage decoration is really amazing. Lighting also improved this year. If possible, try to find some instrumental artists next year.

Koushik Rane 2008-04-22 15:07:00

First of all good job by all the volunteers and extremely good performances by kids and adults. Food is delicious....even though I did not understand the Telugu Language but the festive atmosphere is good. Audio is very loud at times and then I realised the hall is not sound proof so it will be too much to expect from amatuers who ever is handling it. But if the same is done at any school or college auditorium the output might have been different. It is just a thought.

Raghu Kodali 2008-04-22 14:52:00

Hello all, Thank you allfor putting up a good show, I had come for a short visit to this place through Satyam, when one of my friend told about this we thought of coming once just like that and eat food and go...but one program that I cannot take my mind off is small kids doing telugu jingles and letters and numbers in Telugu. To tell you the fact it reminded me of my school days, that is simply nostaligic and I congratulate the team for taking so much pain to train the cute kids. I wish I can stay here and be a part of many more programs but I am leaving next month...but with some memories to share with my colleagues back home. Thanks, Raghu.

Purnima Chaluvadi 2008-04-21 21:43:00

Hello All, TAGG volunteers have done a fabulous job to bring together such a fantastic event-Ugadi 2008. We enjoyed every moment of it, the food was great and so were the performances. This wouldn have been possible without the support of everyone, the organisers, volunteers, choreographers, kids.... and ofcourse the audience. Thanks to all to make this event such a grand success. We look forward to many more such events in the future........I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire TAGG-UGADI committee and especially Surya garu and Appa Rao garu to have confidence in my art/talent and give this opportunity of decorating the stage. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the whole thing and ofcourse this wouldn have been possible without Srivallis help. Thank you Srivalli. I also loved Vasavis art, main entrance decoration-incredible indeed!. She did it in the most traditional way one can think of.......Well done Vasavi garu! Definitely its been an event to cherish for ever!! Anish wants to summerise in one sentence.....he says, UGADI 2008 was a blast of joy!! 3 cheers to TAGGSC!!!

Sridevi 2008-04-21 11:00:00

Hello all, Simply great job by all the Volunteers, I had moved from Minneapolis this year and it is very good to see the vibrant Telugu Community. I thank all of you guys for putting up a good show. I was awestruck to see the stage and it is a pleasant surprise to see all that is done by only three women you had called up on to the stage ***power of ladies....and all the programs are magnificient. The food is great. I am a performer myself and will perform next year. Once again very heartful thanks to all of those invoved.

Srivalli Kondapalli 2008-04-21 10:25:00

The UGADI-2008 celebrations are excellent. I can not express my feelings. Kids have done a superb job & once again they proved themselves. Its an classic event combining all different items like classical, folk, skit and movie based songs etc., We enjoyed every moment and it was yet another memorable event in our life. There is no doubt that it takes lot of co-ordination and effort. Hard work usually pays off and fruits of TAGG team efforts were evident everywhere on Saturday. Food served was delicious. Suggestion: Audio system is not up to the mark and hence left the audience baffle at a time & at times it is in-comprehensible.

Parthasarathy G 2008-04-20 03:15:00

TAGGSC team has done an outstanding work in organizing this years Ugadi event. Your team has raised the bar again and made us proud of the entire Telugu Community within Greenville. Inculcating Telugu alphabet in the young minds of our community Children is an awesome job and I salute the team who has made this possible. There was better coordination within the team and this is reflected in the success of this year event. I am certain that everyone would have noticed the meticulous planning that went behind the scenes especially from the entrance to the stage. Your teams painstaking efforts in coming up with the plantain trees at the entrance to the background screens is a solid proof for the well coordinated team work. It is no wonder that the President of Vedic Centre made applauded the efforts by saying he should be seeking citizenship of Telugu Community(I believe he meant that he wanted to become member of our society). Programs are getting better and reflects our culture. Talent exhibited by the young kids mesmerizes the community. Food served is delicious. Altogether, the creative efforts of the team and the programs performed by the young and adult community will be cherised forever and looking forward for the other exciting programs from TAGGSC.

I think overall the program was excellent.Very well organized.Especially very good job with costumes in ramayana.A small suggestion regarding food.Probably dinner should be skipped to avoid cleaning and also the delay and confusion.Starting with social gathering and snack is good. And may be an intermission when food (heavy snack ) could be served, would not be a bad idea.I think it should also be made as a charitable event so that more sponsors will come forward and will be more fulfilling.

This years program was great; however, I wish there were some solo\s. I think next year we should have solo\s. And if it comes to be a problem just limit the number of solo\s and have maybe some rules so it doesn\ go overboard. Maybe one or two every age group or so like starting from 10 and up. But, other than that I think everything went i hope you take the Solo performance into consideration...Thanks.

We enjoyed the program. Lot of effort on the part of volunteer and participant was evident. Programs were age appropriate with no ugly tollywood zhatkas and matkas was encouraging. But to give the program a polished touch, non participating kids and parents shouldn’t be kept out of the stage. Children wandering on the stage and non readiness of some participant slowed down the pace of the program and added to the duration of the event. Limiting the number of entries per participant can shorten the program and improve program quality. The props were good but volunteers removing props in the program background took away attention from the program. We enjoyed the food especially the authentic amavada and the pachadi. Venue is appropriate. Table and chairs setting would add touch to the arrangement. A lighter dinner will not hurt. It was hard to read the raffle ticket numbers in the dark light. Bottom line, there was enough Ugadi spirit in the ahimsa hall and keep up yr efforts to keep the telugu culture alive.

Super Team and Excellent Program, a lot lot better than all the Telugu Association programmes, of this size, I had attended in North America in all fronts. Here are my observations: Venue was too open and more room to move. Kids had lot of fun, but, it was hard to control them. May be the better venue would be like a school auditorium where kids are motivated to play outside because the arena would not have a flat floor. Secondly, I would like to mention that everyone is a volunteer in the arena to keep the venue clean. Over all the Venue is good and it would also support to vedic center. Audio is lot better than last year. Food was good last year compared to this year. Greenville kids are really talented and performed very professionally. Bala Ramayanam is really nice and it almost made me emotional because of movie backgroud. Back drops, makeup, stage sets and equipment are really wonderful. Compared to last year, programmes are a bit slow may be because of some missed coordination and audio. One suggestion may be to conduct a short quiz or short speech from various ages of kids on Ugadhi/Indian History/Culture and its importance etc. May be it is better to take 15 min break during the program for kids dinner because there was lot of noise and disturbance during that time. And aren\ we missing National Anthems ? My best compliments are to the dedicated team.

I am amazed at the show put up by the volunteers in making the event a successful one. I have been attending the New Year Events since its inception in Greenville and it is getting better every year. Kudos to the organizing team. Background themes certainly brought liveliness to the performed shows.

Ramana Cherukuri 2007-04-18 17:05:00

Hello, I had come all the way from Atlanta to see the programs as I had happen to visit my friends on that day. The programs are excellent and I am surprised for a small town and community like you all. you guys put up a show on par with TAMA. Keep up the good work and your team work is excellent. Thanks for the show and will try come for the next. Thank you, Ram C.

Suryanarayana 2007-04-18 11:57:00

Hello volunteers, Where is your volunteership during the program, did not control the crowd and kids running all over the place, no special place for make up for ladies and girls. The microphone system is much better than last year but caused too many disturbances during the course of the program. Announcer sometimes fail to get the audience attention, I heard some people did not get the food but when I went there is still plenty. Need more attention on details and hope the cultural group will do better job next time, because the participants are very eager to perform. Over all it was a good event and above said are only suggestions not complanits. Tahnks, Suri gadu.

Durgaprasad & Gita 2007-04-18 11:21:00

We personally felt that this year the programmes were better organised than last year may be because we had less programmes compared to last year.Food was great. The kids showed lot of enthu and excitement this year which made the programme more successful. Some of our suggestions for upcoming events would be a talent show by the kids and may be bingo nights for grownups. We should celebrate all our festivals together may be have a potluck together and make it look more tarditional.

Arun 2007-04-18 09:39:00

Good show but felt like dragged a little bit may be an hour, hey still enjoyed the crowd, food and lively atmosphere. Good job and look forward for more.

Swaminathan 2007-04-18 09:37:00

Great show but can be done better in many aspects. Congrats.

TAGG Supporter 2007-04-18 09:33:00

This time there is a good blend of programs and some how I feel the stage is too big for small kids even though you guys did and excellent job in covering it up still I feel it as huge. Congrats to all.

Shyam Kumar 2007-04-18 09:28:00

All the programs are great except for one, that people had a tough time in locating the restrooms and mainly the ladies found it tough, not a big deal but these things will add up to smear the great event.

Kalyani Venkatesan 2007-04-18 09:25:00

Good job and congratulations to all the Members of TAG for their hardwork and dedication. Kalyani V.

Supraja 2007-04-18 09:23:00

Thanks for a wonderful evening and we enjoyed all the programs and food. Special mention for that Ramayanam drama by kids and the costumes and settings are great. I know we have limited resources and knowledge but you guys did it good. Keep up the good work. Supraja.

Kasipathi Lingaraju 2007-04-18 09:20:00

Hi, This is the first time I had attended Ugadi programs and as per my friend he says that TAG is performing and getting better year after year, Good job guys and keep it going. One small suggestion is please do some real community events like highway programs, voluteer job at old age homes and in hospitals etc. Thanks. Kasi P Lingaraju.

Nani 2007-04-18 09:16:00

Good program and good turn out of the crowd, but too much noise as I cannot enjoy some because of it, the volunteers should have done a better job to control the crowd and make them all sit to enjoy the programs, Anyhow it is a thing but it is really a wonderful evening for Grennville crowd. Nani.

Dev 2007-04-18 09:13:00

Hello, Please give the feedback about the whole program not just on cultural programs but also on other aspects like venue, facilities, hospitality etc., so that we can take a cue from your input and try do it better next time. These are community programs and community participation in all aspects is very much needed. If you had already posted a note thanks for your feedback, if not, please do take a couple of minutes to give your valuable feedback. Thank you all for this wonderful program. Dev.

Srivalli 2007-04-17 21:04:00

Congratulations to Organizers, Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers, Guests in making such a wonderful event. Stage presentation, coordination was excellent. No one can believe this the same anand bazaar stage. Kids fancy dress competition is conducted very well. Costumes in all the dances are really really good. Specially Balaramayanam. Special thanks to the people who worked very hard and spent lot of time behind the scenes. Last but not least some suggestions from my side are: Need some more attention towards microphones & audio system. Some more Andhra taste to food. Srivalli

Thanks to all the Organizers for the wonderful Ladies Day Out program. I think it was a success except that not many people were able to attend because of the long weekend. Your effort is truely appreciated. I really enjoyed it, but missed the end. Hope the rest of them had a blast.

A hearty thank-you to the organizers of Ladies day out.It could have been more fun if everyone had joined.Well, maybe next time. Thanks again.

The evening was a good time pass. However the food could have been a lot better, especially the curries.

Krishna Vemuri 2006-04-13 11:09:59

The function was organized very well and we enjoyed it very much.

The one suggestion , I would like to give would be to start the dinner early before the program closes. It would reduce the line & would also help the organizers for the cleaning after the function.

Pavani 2006-04-11 17:34:52

Congratulations to Organizers, Participants, Guests, Viewers and Sponsors in making this event a grand success. Without all of them this event would not have been a grand success. It was good to see such wide variety of programs. I hope this continues each year with a new spirit. Kids participation is appreciated. It was appreciable to see people from all age groups on the stage, including the newborn coming forward and performing so well. Thanks to everybody to make this a colorful event. Hope to see many more events coming up in Greenville

Hari Koduru 2006-04-11 16:55:30

Hats off to crew for the commitment, integrity, enthusiasm and quality details that has been put in every department.

Greenville, you have a great talent

My Suggestions are:

-More Ugadi content for younger generations. Like Ugadi skits in Telugu/English (but not to the boring levels to keep the tempo going)
-May be little less movie based (Because, 99% were movie based)

Dev 2006-04-11 16:13:58

It is good that people are expressing their views but we will really appreciate the tips or constructive criticism to improve for the next event rather than blunt criticism with a pseudonym.

Congratulations to all the volunteers for a grand success of the event.

Venkat 2006-04-11 15:54:16

Congratulations to Organizers, Sponsors, Volunteers, Participants, Guests in making the event succesful. Event programming is getting better every year and I hope the trend will continue. Stage presentation, coordination was excellent, especially considering none of them involved were professionals. Hope to see more of these events in Greenville.

Rao 2006-04-11 10:51:21

I did had difficulty in watching the programs as the stage is little low and could not see the little kids performing...Over all the program is good.

Aparichituralu 2006-04-11 10:22:28

It is good that every body had enjoyed the event..including myself. But I want to point out some issues which needs some attention of the volunteers or the organisers.

1. The dances lack proffesionalism whether it is folk, classical or cinema dances.
2. The food is so-so.
3. Can eliminate the Fancy dress as it is not the right venue.

But there are a lot of good points to mention like stage looks fantastic and skit is good too.

Rajesh 2006-04-11 10:13:18

Dancelu...adhirai mama...

Kajalu na kattalo 3..( sorry to the people who did not get one ).

The program is Fantastic...and we will definetly come up with some dances next year and one suggestion to the group..Please do not let down this spirit of the people they are at now and come up with programs on regular basis to bring together the community.

Lakshmi 2006-04-11 10:02:05

It was a great event and to me it is no lesser event than any other telugu events in big cities.. I had moved from Chicago and had little doubts about telugu community here but after this program I am very happy that I am in right place and look forward to make a lots of friends here...

Thank you TAGG...
