Once again TAGG team proved themselves and raised the bar again. Feels like they made a habit of this.
Congratulations to Organizers, Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers, Guests in making such a wonderful event.
Costumes in all the dances are really really good. Lot of effort from choreographers & parents. Special thanks to the people who worked very hard and spent lot of time for the success of the event.
Food quality, quick serve and the amount of food was great.
Last but not least: I am giving the same suggestion since last two years also, this year also same suggestion: Audio system is not up to the mark and hence left the audience baffle at a time & at times it is in-comprehensible. Audio is the only means of communicating the program to the audience. So please, please take extra effort & caution to not hurt the participants and audience with improper audio system.
All good wishes to TAGG. |

Great Show Last Night. I really enjoyed it. The beginning of the show was Excellent with prayer and then Desam Manadera was really good. Congratulations to the choreographer who did this. The back ground was good the costumes were really good. My personal favorites were Desam manadera and Akilandeswari.Food was very delicious but little spicy for me but chakara pongali covered it. Good show guys. I really like to congratulate Tagg team, choreographers; stage decorates who did an excellent job on decorations. Over all a great hit show last night |

Hello TAGG, I should kick myself for missing this program, I went along with our group to Atlanta for nothing to watch Ready movie. It is nice but some of my friends from other cities made fun of me for trading this program to a movie. Hope we will have him again while I am here,If not him I look forward for this kind of programs. |

Hello TAGG members, You guys did a commendable job on telugu new year function. I shouls say that was the best program that I had saw in the recent past, I had attended vedic center & IAGG programs but you guys had surpassed all of it on all aspects be it food, entertainment or volunteership. Only blot in the program is the language, it is bounded to a regional language, which is very difficult for people like me to understand and enjoy the programs. Kindly include atleast hindi so that you guys can reach broader community. Including 3 or 4 hindi in the programs will not effect flow or the identity of TAGG. I am surprised even Jyotiji also did telugu song!!! Anyhow congratulations for a grand event and hope you guys will keep doing it better and better. Param. |

Telugu ugadi festival was very well celebrated. This is the first time for me outside india on ugadi. and I really liked this way of remembering all the telugu cultures amongst us. Telugu Badi, and distributing ugadi pachadi were awesome ideas. I even liked the idea of teaching telugu letters through poems. Bharathnyatam dance was very good, and its amazing how children in US can learn and relate to telugu culture. The movie dances were very very good and well coreagraphed. I thank my Apparao babai and Srivalli pinni to introduce me to greenvile and its rich culture. Food was very yummy. Stage decoration was very good. I have seen the stage before the day and after the decoration, trust me it is simply superb. All the hardwork deserve great appreciations. The music was loud enough to create its presence amongst the other activities backstage and audience, so I liked the audio too. I observed finally that there were only men amongst the committe members. Would be willing to see the Lady power on the commitee by next Ugadi function. Also, we need to project all these activities in India through E tv, Maa tv or Zee. If any one has contacts, please provide them. This will clear out the misconception of becoming western once we land in US. :) The whole funtion reminded me of the essence of Ugadi pachadi. The 2 months hardwork for the function had all the flavours sweet, sour, bitternes and spice in it. From the previous comments I see that we all have taken the program in the right spirit and appreciated the hardwork done backstage and onstage. |

CONGRATULATIONS!!! to all TAGG volunteers for a job well done. There is a drastic change in the quality of the programs, food, arrangements & lighting this year and filled the minds of people with joy. The entrance and the stage decoration were marvelous. I even heard people saying that it looks like a movie shot. It was so professional. It’s so nice to see such hidden talents in our community and I am proud to be part of it. Food was very delicious. It’s nice to see kids performing classical dances with so much dedication that captured people’s attention and proved to change their opinion. Everyone did an excellent job. The only clause was with the audio system which might need more attention. |

It was wonderful event. Members need to be appreciated. As MC’s said, this year is special for TAGG as it celebrated 5th year. Everybody made it memorable by their performances and their interest in costume designs. One better item this year is Taarangam. Srinivas did come up with very good idea of teaching the Telugu rhymes in a new fashion. Food was delicious and stage decoration is really amazing. Lighting also improved this year. If possible, try to find some instrumental artists next year. |

First of all good job by all the volunteers and extremely good performances by kids and adults. Food is delicious....even though I did not understand the Telugu Language but the festive atmosphere is good. Audio is very loud at times and then I realised the hall is not sound proof so it will be too much to expect from amatuers who ever is handling it. But if the same is done at any school or college auditorium the output might have been different. It is just a thought. |

Hello all, Thank you allfor putting up a good show, I had come for a short visit to this place through Satyam, when one of my friend told about this we thought of coming once just like that and eat food and go...but one program that I cannot take my mind off is small kids doing telugu jingles and letters and numbers in Telugu. To tell you the fact it reminded me of my school days, that is simply nostaligic and I congratulate the team for taking so much pain to train the cute kids. I wish I can stay here and be a part of many more programs but I am leaving next month...but with some memories to share with my colleagues back home. Thanks, Raghu. |

Hello All, TAGG volunteers have done a fabulous job to bring together such a fantastic event-Ugadi 2008. We enjoyed every moment of it, the food was great and so were the performances. This wouldn have been possible without the support of everyone, the organisers, volunteers, choreographers, kids.... and ofcourse the audience. Thanks to all to make this event such a grand success. We look forward to many more such events in the future........I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire TAGG-UGADI committee and especially Surya garu and Appa Rao garu to have confidence in my art/talent and give this opportunity of decorating the stage. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the whole thing and ofcourse this wouldn have been possible without Srivallis help. Thank you Srivalli. I also loved Vasavis art, main entrance decoration-incredible indeed!. She did it in the most traditional way one can think of.......Well done Vasavi garu! Definitely its been an event to cherish for ever!! Anish wants to summerise in one sentence.....he says, UGADI 2008 was a blast of joy!! 3 cheers to TAGGSC!!! |

I was awestruck to see the stage and it is a pleasant surprise to see all that is done by only three women you had called up on to the stage ***power of ladies....and all the programs are magnificient. The food is great. I am a performer myself and will perform next year. Once again very heartful thanks to all of those invoved. |

The UGADI-2008 celebrations are excellent. I can not express my feelings. Kids have done a superb job & once again they proved themselves. Its an classic event combining all different items like classical, folk, skit and movie based songs etc., We enjoyed every moment and it was yet another memorable event in our life. There is no doubt that it takes lot of co-ordination and effort. Hard work usually pays off and fruits of TAGG team efforts were evident everywhere on Saturday. Food served was delicious. Suggestion: Audio system is not up to the mark and hence left the audience baffle at a time & at times it is in-comprehensible. |

TAGGSC team has done an outstanding work in organizing this years Ugadi event. Your team has raised the bar again and made us proud of the entire Telugu Community within Greenville. Inculcating Telugu alphabet in the young minds of our community Children is an awesome job and I salute the team who has made this possible. There was better coordination within the team and this is reflected in the success of this year event. I am certain that everyone would have noticed the meticulous planning that went behind the scenes especially from the entrance to the stage. Your teams painstaking efforts in coming up with the plantain trees at the entrance to the background screens is a solid proof for the well coordinated team work. It is no wonder that the President of Vedic Centre made applauded the efforts by saying he should be seeking citizenship of Telugu Community(I believe he meant that he wanted to become member of our society). Programs are getting better and reflects our culture. Talent exhibited by the young kids mesmerizes the community. Food served is delicious. Altogether, the creative efforts of the team and the programs performed by the young and adult community will be cherised forever and looking forward for the other exciting programs from TAGGSC. |

I think overall the program was excellent.Very well organized.Especially very good job with costumes in ramayana.A small suggestion regarding food.Probably dinner should be skipped to avoid cleaning and also the delay and confusion.Starting with social gathering and snack is good. And may be an intermission when food (heavy snack ) could be served, would not be a bad idea.I think it should also be made as a charitable event so that more sponsors will come forward and will be more fulfilling. |

This years program was great; however, I wish there were some solo\s. I think next year we should have solo\s. And if it comes to be a problem just limit the number of solo\s and have maybe some rules so it doesn\ go overboard. Maybe one or two every age group or so like starting from 10 and up. But, other than that I think everything went great...so i hope you take the Solo performance into consideration...Thanks. |

We enjoyed the program. Lot of effort on the part of volunteer and participant was evident. Programs were age appropriate with no ugly tollywood zhatkas and matkas was encouraging. But to give the program a polished touch, non participating kids and parents shouldn’t be kept out of the stage. Children wandering on the stage and non readiness of some participant slowed down the pace of the program and added to the duration of the event. Limiting the number of entries per participant can shorten the program and improve program quality. The props were good but volunteers removing props in the program background took away attention from the program. We enjoyed the food especially the authentic amavada and the pachadi. Venue is appropriate. Table and chairs setting would add touch to the arrangement. A lighter dinner will not hurt. It was hard to read the raffle ticket numbers in the dark light. Bottom line, there was enough Ugadi spirit in the ahimsa hall and keep up yr efforts to keep the telugu culture alive. |

Super Team and Excellent Program, a lot lot better than all the Telugu Association programmes, of this size, I had attended in North America in all fronts. Here are my observations: Venue was too open and more room to move. Kids had lot of fun, but, it was hard to control them. May be the better venue would be like a school auditorium where kids are motivated to play outside because the arena would not have a flat floor. Secondly, I would like to mention that everyone is a volunteer in the arena to keep the venue clean. Over all the Venue is good and it would also support to vedic center. Audio is lot better than last year. Food was good last year compared to this year. Greenville kids are really talented and performed very professionally. Bala Ramayanam is really nice and it almost made me emotional because of movie backgroud. Back drops, makeup, stage sets and equipment are really wonderful. Compared to last year, programmes are a bit slow may be because of some missed coordination and audio. One suggestion may be to conduct a short quiz or short speech from various ages of kids on Ugadhi/Indian History/Culture and its importance etc. May be it is better to take 15 min break during the program for kids dinner because there was lot of noise and disturbance during that time. And aren\ we missing National Anthems ? My best compliments are to the dedicated team. |

Hello volunteers, Where is your volunteership during the program, did not control the crowd and kids running all over the place, no special place for make up for ladies and girls. The microphone system is much better than last year but caused too many disturbances during the course of the program. Announcer sometimes fail to get the audience attention, I heard some people did not get the food but when I went there is still plenty. Need more attention on details and hope the cultural group will do better job next time, because the participants are very eager to perform. Over all it was a good event and above said are only suggestions not complanits. Tahnks, Suri gadu. |

We personally felt that this year the programmes were better organised than last year may be because we had less programmes compared to last year.Food was great. The kids showed lot of enthu and excitement this year which made the programme more successful. Some of our suggestions for upcoming events would be a talent show by the kids and may be bingo nights for grownups. We should celebrate all our festivals together may be have a potluck together and make it look more tarditional. |

The function was organized very well and we enjoyed it very much.
The one suggestion , I would like to give would be to start the dinner early before the program closes. It would reduce the line & would also help the organizers for the cleaning after the function. |

Congratulations to Organizers, Participants, Guests, Viewers and Sponsors in making this event a grand success. Without all of them this event would not have been a grand success. It was good to see such wide variety of programs. I hope this continues each year with a new spirit. Kids participation is appreciated. It was appreciable to see people from all age groups on the stage, including the newborn coming forward and performing so well. Thanks to everybody to make this a colorful event. Hope to see many more events coming up in Greenville |

Hats off to crew for the commitment, integrity, enthusiasm and quality details that has been put in every department.
Greenville, you have a great talent
My Suggestions are:
-More Ugadi content for younger generations. Like Ugadi skits in Telugu/English (but not to the boring levels to keep the tempo going)
-May be little less movie based (Because, 99% were movie based) |

It is good that people are expressing their views but we will really appreciate the tips or constructive criticism to improve for the next event rather than blunt criticism with a pseudonym.
Congratulations to all the volunteers for a grand success of the event. |

Congratulations to Organizers, Sponsors, Volunteers, Participants, Guests in making the event succesful. Event programming is getting better every year and I hope the trend will continue. Stage presentation, coordination was excellent, especially considering none of them involved were professionals. Hope to see more of these events in Greenville. |

I did had difficulty in watching the programs as the stage is little low and could not see the little kids performing...Over all the program is good. |

It is good that every body had enjoyed the event..including myself. But I want to point out some issues which needs some attention of the volunteers or the organisers.
1. The dances lack proffesionalism whether it is folk, classical or cinema dances.
2. The food is so-so.
3. Can eliminate the Fancy dress as it is not the right venue.
But there are a lot of good points to mention like stage looks fantastic and skit is good too. |

Great Job Guys. Considering that the organizing body is a voluntary organization the presentation was Absolutely Professional.
